Creamy Baked Cocada Recipe

Anyone who is passionate about coconut will love this easy recipe for creamy baked coconut candy!

With few ingredients, this baked coconut is super molhadinha and can be made either with fresh grated coconut or with dry grated coconut, the ones we buy at the market. To complete the practicality, you mix everything by hand in less than 5 minutes!

Ingredients for making creamy baked coke:

 2 cups of grated coconut (160 grams)

 3 eggs

 1 can of condensed milk

 ½ cup of whole milk

 ½ cup coconut milk

 1 tablespoon of oil to grease the pan

How to Make Creamy Baked Cocada:

Separate the ingredients. They should be at room temperature so that the coconut dough is the right consistency.

Tip: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (medium oven).

The grated coconut that we use here is fresh, but you can also use the dry grated coconut that you sell at the market (the measure is the same). A tip: if you want your baked coconut to be less "chunky", you can reduce the amount to 1 and 1/2 cup of grated coconut.

Mix condensed milk, whole milk, coconut milk and eggs in a large bowl.

Tip: Break the eggs into a separate bowl and then add them to the recipe. If one is broken you don't lose the entire recipe!

Then add the grated coconut and mix again.

Grease a refractory with 1 tablespoon of oil (the form used here is 25 cm x 15 cm).

Tip: Remembering that this dessert can be served in individual portions, ideal for a party.

Pour in the batter and bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes - don't leave any longer than that for your baked coconut candy to be really creamy inside!

As soon as it browns on the sides, it's time to take it out of the oven.
